In contemporary Multicloud environments, the key management is considered the foundation stone for the security of the infrastructure. Every application, platform, database in a company’s ecosystem uses different keys for encrypting the data. The scope of the Key Management System (KMS) is to gather, store and manage all these keys securely.
During this presentation we will review the Fortanix Data Security Manager (DSM). DSM offers full cryptographic key lifecycle management as a service to ensure secure and consistent key management across multi-cloud environments, including bring your own key (BYOK) and key management service (BYOKMS).
Our speaker this week is:Â Matina Tsavli
With a 12-year professional experience in Digital Security, Matina obtained a strong technical background in Cloud Security Architecture. Due to her enthusiasm for Security and Cloud technologies, she has acquired many certifications in the aforementioned fields, participated in many conferences and have authored numerous publications, including an RFC.
In 2018, Matina won the Business Excellence Award for the Audit-Runner: a Nokia DevSecOps tool, working as a Security Principal Architect at Nokia.
