We know that not everyone who wants to come to DevSecCon will be able to afford it, some people’s personal or financial circumstances will make this difficult. As part of our scholarship program we set aside a number of free tickets to make the conference more open and accessible.
Our aim is to lower the barriers for underrepresented groups in tech to be able to attend, have access to our content and networking opportunities. This includes but isn’t limited to: women, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ individuals, disabled people and those facing economic or social hardship. The program is open for anyone to apply. If you’re an aspirant or current Development, DevOps or IT Security professional without access to the funds to buy your ticket, you should apply. We will award tickets to people who can show that the knowledge gained will be useful for their ongoing career.
This year F5 Networks is supporting DevSecCon Seattle’s Diversity & Inclusion program by funding 15 conference tickets for individuals of underrepresented groups in tech. We would like to say a huge thank you for their support! To apply for one of the tickets, please complete the application form below.
If you are interested in our Diversity Scholarship opportunities, please contact us to request a sponsor pack and find out how we can work together.
Submissions will be assessed by the organising team and all applicants will be notified by email before the conference date. Scholarship tickets can only be given in a limited number and the organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.
