There’s no better way to understand container security than by seeing some live hacking! During this interactive session Liran Tal, Snyk’s Director of Developer Advocacy & Community will introduce the state of docker security by reviewing vulnerabilities in docker images and their impact on applications.
This hacking session will provide you with security best practices for building docker container images. Each successful hack will help you better understand the mistakes you can make, their implications – and how you can avoid them.
After the hack, we’ll run a live Q&A session.
Join us! You’ll get the chance take some excellent Snyk swag with you.
A Stranger Danger is a technical live hacking session presented from the viewpoint of an attacker. During this session, an application will be exploited to show which threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations are the most common in cloud native applications. After each attack scenario, remediation and best practices will be shared to ensure that you know how to protect your own applications from these threats.
The event will be live-streamed, recorded, and made available later on VSHN’s YouTube channel: https://vshn.tv – subscribe to be notified of updates!
We expect all participants to abide by VSHN’s Conference Code of Conduct: https://www.vshn.ch/en/code-of-conduct/
